Launch of the Clinical Engineering & AI Scientific Circle

Official Launch of Our Interdisciplinary Scientific Initiative

The Department of Clinical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence at the Academy of Silesia is proud to announce the launch of a new interdisciplinary Student Research Club, created to bring together students of medicine, information technology, engineering, and related disciplines.

This initiative was conceived by Joanna Chwał, PhD, Eng. and Radosław Dzik, PhD, Eng., under the academic leadership and patronage of Professor Ewaryst Tkacz, DSc, Eng., whose longstanding contributions to clinical engineering and innovation continue to inspire this new scientific endeavor.

The Club aims to build a vibrant community of young innovators who understand the challenges of modern healthcare and are ready to shape its future. By combining expertise from medicine, engineering, and artificial intelligence, the initiative will create a collaborative environment for exploring how AI can be applied in an ethical, intelligent, and efficient way to support modern medicine.

Our mission is to foster interdisciplinary dialogue, practical innovation, and scientific curiosity—empowering students to develop ideas and projects at the intersection of healthcare and emerging technologies.

We are also excited to announce that the official logo of the Club has now been unveiled, marking the first visual identity of this growing scientific community.

This initiative is only the beginning of what we believe will become a dynamic platform for collaboration, innovation, and education in the rapidly evolving field of AI-driven healthcare.
